We’re joined by Nora Fayad, who is one of the CUNY 8. CUNY is the City University of New York. Nora and seven others were charged for their protest actions on the campus of City College, one of the CUNY schools. On April 30, they were arrested and charged with felony burglary, accused of attempting to enter a campus building without permission. Nora Fayad and others are concerned community members who joined the protests yet are condemned as being “outside agitators.” She joins us from New York City to discuss the disposition of their court case.
